I'm Daniel Bernard. I serve as Senior Pastor of First Church Sterling Heights, Michigan, and as Director of Promotions for North American Missions, where I oversee messaging and campaigns like Christmas for Christ.

In May 2024 I followed Pastor Harold Hoffman, who led First Church faithfully from 1989 to 2024, into the senior pastor role. My wife and I lead alongside a staff team spanning production, creative, and pastoral ministry, and we're in the middle of building a new sanctuary for a church that keeps growing.

What I care about most is preaching the Word plainly, developing leaders, and telling the story of what God is doing in a way that ordinary people can hear. Off the platform, I'm a drummer, a photographer when I can be, and I write a little.
